We know that finding a church home can be overwhelming. Here at Vertical Encounter, we want to make it as easy as possible to get connected. Everyone’s first step at VE is Party With The Pastors. Who doesn’t love a great party? Every first Sunday of the month we set aside 25 mins for you to meet the Pastors and staff, hear the story of the church, and for us to answer any questions you might have. STEP 2: SERVE 101
No party is complete without an after party. We’ve named ours Serve 101. After Party With The Pastors, the next step is Serve 101. There, we take time to hear your story and discover how you can best discover your purpose through serving at Vertical Encounter. There are many teams and areas for you can be a part of, our goal is to help you find the perfect one. The best part? When you RSVP we bring you free Starbucks at Serve 101! Here at Vertical Encounter, we believe and practice the New Testament ordinance of water baptism. Baptism is a necessary step in your spiritual journey of faith in Christ. Water baptism does not make you a believer, but it is simply an obedient response in expressing your new faith in Christ.
When you come to faith in Christ, an inner change takes place. Baptism is the outward symbol of your inward commitment to Jesus Christ. It is the first step of obedience in your journey with Jesus and a public statement of your faith.
